ICT INFRASTRUCTURE

21^st century skills : Digital Literacy, Problem Solving Skills, Collaboration and Critical thinking

Project-based learning allows students to acquire 21^st-century skills in the context of real-world scenarios, and the integration of video and other media to support instruction links students with outside resources and enables teachers to address many learning styles at once. The teachers of this department also help the children to gather more information about topics related to their curriculum and also other topics apart from their curriculum using encyclopedias like Encarta, Brittanica etc. The laboratories are interconnected with LAN and 512 KBPS Broadband Connection to use internet facility for all staff and students and also has an inkjet printer and two dot matrix printers for printing purposes apart from one Ricoh Xerox machine cum Printer and Scanner.

Kendriya Vidyalaya A.F.S. Ojhar focusing on :

Preparing the students for the emerging knowledge society.
Motivate learners and teachers for global competition.
Improve conceptual understanding and develop constructivist skills through the use of Multimedia and interactive content and applications.
Help students gain Higher Order Thinking Skills through research, communication and productivity strategies and tools.
ICT training programmes for teachers were guided how to use Internet for Communication; Collaboration and Publication using Websites, Blogs etc.
