INTRODUCTION TO AVISHKAR - 2007

His Excellency Dr. S.M.Krishna, governor of Maharashtra mooted the concept of providing a plat form/opportunity for expression of research talent of students of Maharashtra. It is for inculcating research culture and original thinking in students. Such type of activity is essential in the era of intellectual property rights with the implementation of WTO-GATS and patenting of research. So he gave a shape to this idea to bring all the researchers of 18 universities of Maharashtra to a common platform to present their research study.

Teacher's Journey to AVISHKAR - 2007

When AVISHKAR - 2007 COMPETITION was announed by Maharashtra State Government to call the attention of Research Scholars working on different areas from different universities functioning in Maharashtra State, Mr. Donnipad Manjunath, PGT Mathematics of Kendriya Vidyalaya, AFS, Ojhar was pursuing his research degree in Mathematics Education from Yashwantrao Chavan Mahrashtra Open University, Nasik. In response to the call from Avishkar - 2007 competition, he had applied and got selected for presenting his research paper at SNDT Women University, Mumbai.

Mr. Manjunath, PGT Mathematics receiving the Regional Trophy for standing First at Regional and Participating in Nationals (3rd in Zonal level)	YOUTH PARLIAMENT - MY INVOLVEMENT A group of 52 students from Classes IX to XII of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Air Force Station, Ojhar have participated in 20th Youth Parliament Competition at regional level on 12th October 2007 and declared victorious to move further to Zonal to be held at Kendriya Vidyalaya, V.V. Nagar, Ahmadabad region on 17th January 2008. The In-charge of this 20th Youth Parliament Team of young politicians was Mr. Donnipad Manjunath, PGT Mathematics of this Vidyalaya. This batch of 52 students were trained by two teachers Mr. D. Manjunath, PGT Mathematics and Mr. G R Verma, TGT Social Sciences. In terms of Achievement: Mr. D Manjunath is from Mathematics Background and has put up a service of 15 long years in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Being a Mathematics man, one should consider him as an alien to the world of humanities especially diversified topic like YOUTH PARLIAMENT. However, he had taken up this challenge twice. First he rendered his services to Mr. G R Verma, TGT SST of this vidyalaya, who was I/c for 19th youth Parliament. But, Mr. Manjunath was made I/c for 20th Youth Parliament. During his time as I/C, this Vidyalaya has represented at National Level that was held at KV, VV Nagar and bagged 3rd position in the competition.
